Flt Lt Patrick “Pat” Colvin RAFVR(T) Ret’d
Patrick was the Officer Commanding 122 (5th Glasgow) ATC Squadron and a Wing Staff Officer with Glasgow and West of Scotland ATC Wing. A veteran of 12 Nijmegen Marches Patrick has overall responsibility for all aspects of Route Planning and is ably assisted by Mrs Lyn Thain who carries out the Administrative aspects of SGM.
Capt (Ret’d) John Thomson
John is a former officer of the Army Medical Services and also served as a Flying Officer with 122 (5th Glasgow) ATC Squadron. John is responsible for co-ordinating all Support Staff and liasing with Brigade for use of equipment.
Flt Lt Allan Robinson RAFVR(T) Ret’d
Allan was the Officer Commanding 62 (2nd Glasgow) ATC Squadron and a Wing Staff Officer with Glasgow and West of Scotland ATC Wing. Allan is responsible for all elements of Route Support and liaising with the Strathclyde and MOD Police, ensuring the safety of Marchers and support staff on route.
Sqn Ldr Bill Alleyn RAFVR(T) Ret’d
Bill was the Officer Commanding 122 (5th Glasgow) ATC Squadron and served as a Senior Wing Staff Officer with Glasgow and West of Scotland ATC Wing and as the Regional Gliding Liaison Officer with Air Cadets Scotland and Northern Ireland. Bill looks after the SGM Finances, produces the Safety Briefing Presentation, the Marching Times and the post event DVD film.
